I'm an engineer, photographer, and all around good guy who is always in search of a great adventure.
I have always loved to tinker and build. My projects have grown in scope, but they are always exciting to work on.
I spent 10+ years working as a volunteer EMT who responded to every imaginable 911 call. I've treated everything from hangnails to gunshots.
In college I led two great teams who managed to build a hydrogen-fuel-cell powered robotic lawn mower, and a car that got 273+ MPG.
I learned a great deal from Scouting. After earning my Eagle rank I have served as both Scoutmaster and High Adventure chairman. We pull off some unbelievable trips.
Professionally I work for Medtronic which is great - every day I get to solve really hard problems that help real people heal and recover from their illnesses.
My adventures come in all shapes and sizes, but they have a common thread on hiking, camping, and mountaineering.
Finally, and most importantly, I'm married to my best friend and partner in crime - Kim.
